The 7 Deadly Sins Legends Ball !
The 7 Deadly Legends Ball proved to be a huge success. More than 350 plus youth showed up to storm the runway and get there 10's (not forgetting to incorporate their safer sex messages). Lots of partner agencies tabled and provided youth with vital resources and information.
Thanks to all the Houses that came out and got tested and showed their support. Be on the lookout for HEAT's next Ball in February 2012!!!!!!

Sisters Informing Sisters on Topics About AIDS consists of five groups designed specifically for heterosexual African American Women ages 18-24.
These interactive groups will have a special focus on fun and new ways to practice safe sex, negotiation skills, building relationships, and much more.
At the end of these sessions young women will walk away feeling sexy, empowered, confident and strong!

World AIDS Day, The HEAT Program received an award from NYC Mayor, Michael Bloomberg
In commemoration of World AIDS Day on December 1, 2009, The HEAT Program received an award from NYC Mayor, Michael Bloomberg,
in recognition of HEAT's outstanding work with HIV+ adolescents in New York City. Program Director, Dr. Jeffrey M. Birnbaum and Program Administrator,
Jennifer Irwin, accepted the award on behalf of the Program. NYC Health Commissioner, Dr. Thomas Farley, was present to assist Mayor Bloomberg in presenting HEAT its award.
